Welcome to school in 1850!        

Students who visit the Heritage Schoolhouse will explore through role-play what it was like to go to school in 1850. Our programs also include analysis of primary sources, and reflections and discussions that cover topics such as settlement history, segregated schooling, and what daily life was like for students.​​
