Tuesday, September 4, 2018 will mark the first day of the schoolyear for most York Region District School Board students. Over 124,000 students will be welcomed into 178 elementary and 33 secondary schools by teachers, administrators and support staff.
One new French Immersion school, Victoria Square Public School, will open in Markham and serve students from JK - Grade 8.
