Two Thornlea S.S. Students Headed for NCAA Basketball

THORNHILL, ON- Meet Keeshawn Barthelemy and Cashius McNeilly, two Grade 12 students from Thornlea S.S. who have represented Canada internationally playing basketball, and are on track for future success in the sport.

“They’re two of the best players in the world in their age category, and I don’t have a doubt in my mind both of them are going to be playing in the NBA,” said Charles Hantoumakos, Teacher and Coach at Thornlea S.S.

Both students have been scouted since Grade 9. Cashius McNeilly is attending Texas A&M University for basketball. Keeshawn Barthelemy is considering offers from over 40 post-secondary institutions.
