Students Help Restore Local Habitats

Media Advisory

11/4/2018

Grade 4 students will help to plant about 1,000 native trees and shrubs at a local outdoor education centre, restoring local habitats.

In partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), the students from Nobleton P.S. will learn how to plant the trees, and how native plants enhance the habitat and provide food and shelter for local wildlife. Students will also help collect data for the TRCA’s Tree and Shrub Monitoring and Maintenance Program.
