The YRDSB IES Twitter account is managed by International Education Services. We may occasionally use some automation (such as tools that generate tweets), but intend that this will not dominate the messages being posted.
If you follow us, you can expect posts about the following:
- alerts about new content on our website;
- invitations to provide feedback on specific topics;
- information regarding emergent issues;
- information regarding special events or recognitions received by YRDSB International Education Services or its students/ employees
- occasional live coverage of events
- occasional information from some of our community partners.

If you follow us on Twitter, we will not automatically follow you back. This is to avoid wasting resources and to handle spammers. Being followed by YRDSB International Education Services does not imply endorsement of any kind.
Availability
We will update and monitor our Twitter account during regular office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and we accept no responsibility due to this downtime. YRDSB International Education Services reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate its Twitter account at any time.

@Replies and Direct Messages
We welcome feedback and ideas from all our followers, and will endeavour to join the conversation when possible. However, we may not be able to reply individually to all messages received on Twitter. YRDSB International Education Services will not respond with details regarding identifiable individuals, including students and staff.
All @replies and direct messages are read and emerging themes or suggestions are passed on to the appropriate staff members in the YRDSB International Education Services department.
Any material deemed to be illegal, hateful, offensive, and/or threatening is reportable and can result in serious consequences. Please think before you tweet.
