Junior National Basketball Association (Jr. NBA) Clinic

​What:

Over 400 York Region District School Board students from 48 elementary schools across the district will take part in the Jr. NBA Clinic led by current and former NBA, WNBA and NBA Development League players. The event is part of the NBA All-Star Weekend activities taking place in Toronto and the clinic will be attended by over 2,500 students from across the Greater Toronto Area.

Why:

The district made the opportunity to participate in the Jr. NBA Clinic open to as many schools as possible from around the region. As a result, 406 students from 48 public schools across York Region were chosen to take part in an event that promotes student well-being and physical activity.

400 elementary students; current and former NBA, WNBA and NBA Development League players.
