Bargaining Information Page
With ongoing discussions about bargaining and potential provincial labour action in education, we recognize that many members of our community have questions and concerns about what this will mean for our students and schools.
Student Agenda Planners
Recently, in a small number of schools some families received student agenda planners from their school. These planners, ordered from a print vendor, are used to support students with organization and communicate with teachers. Over the weekend, we learned that some of the school agendas had a cover with cartoon depictions of students, which perpetuates stereotypes and stigmatizes children from racialized backgrounds. While we appreciate the intent of the cover was positive, we are grateful for the students who had the courage to come forward to resolve this matter.

Dear Families,
The Ontario government has made a number of announcements that will affect how publicly funded education is delivered in this province and in our board. This includes changes to class sizes, curriculum and Board budgets.
We recognize that you may have questions about what these changes may mean for your children and your family. While we do not have all the answers, we do know that this will have an effect on our Board.
