The Milne Outdoor Education Centre is located at Roy H. Crosby Public School and is ideally situated on the doorstep of the Milne Dam Conservation Park in the Town of Markham. Established in 1990, Milne Outdoor Education Centre is one of five centres that provide outdoor education for elementary schools in the York Region District School Board.

While visiting Milne Outdoor Education Centre students will explore a 120 hectare urban wilderness that contains a remarkable diversity of plants and animals. The Rouge River bisects the park from east to west and represents Milne Outdoor Education Centre's most significant natural feature.

Milne Outdoor Education Centre's hands-on educational programs are connected to expectations of the Ontario Curriculum and provide students with the opportunity to learn in outdoor settings.
