Aurora H.S. graduate Jake Cowden has been selected as one of two racers representing Team Canada under the Team Canada Scholarship Program. He will represent Canada at two prestigious international races in October and November 2022.
In addition to racing, Jake is also planning a future in the automotive industry. While at Aurora H.S., he gained skills, experience and certifications through the Specialist High Skills Major and Accelerated Ontario Youth Apprenticeship programs.
"I really enjoyed the SHSM program. I found throughout all the opportunities and courses I got to take through that really helped me on my journey to becoming an automotive service technician," said Cowden.
