What:
A partnership to reveal a region-wide campaign against cyberbullying including:
- Speeches from student trustees, and York Region District School Board, York Regional Police and York Catholic District School Board officials.
- An engaging video depicting the need for change and the power of youth as drivers of change.
- A live Twitter feed for students to tweet their support for cyberbully-free communities.
- A t-shirt and postcard for each participating student.
- The launch of our #yeswewill hashtag.

Why:
This launch signals the first in a series of events aimed at:
- Raising awareness about cyberbullying.
- Decreasing the number of incidents in our schools and communities.
- Building healthy, safe and inclusive cultures and communities.
- Strengthening partnerships that empower all members to change the culture of cyberbullying.

In attendance will be:
- Over 300 York Region District School Board and York Catholic District School Board students.
- Student trustees from both boards.
- Representatives from York Regional Police, York Catholic District School Board and York Region District School Board.
- Trustees.
- Community members.
