A by-election will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 to fill the vacant trustee position for Richmond Hill, Wards 1, 2 and 4. York Region District School Board will hold an online candidates meeting for members of the public to learn more about the trustee candidates and the candidates’ views on issues that affect public education in York Region. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this event will be held electronically.
Members of the public who are interested in joining this session are advised to register to receive connection instructions directly.
Details will be posted on the Board website for any member of the public who is interested in participating as an observer, however only residents of Richmond Hill, Wards 1, 2 and 4 are eligible to vote.
This is a Board-sponsored, non-partisan event.
