On Thursday, June 25, celebrate the Pan Am flame when it arrives at Dr. Bette Stephenson Centre for Learning. All are welcome to see the torch in person, enjoy music, food, prizes and more!

*Flame is due to arrive at approximately 11:40 a.m.
Why:
To give community members an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of sport, see the flame and interact with torchbearers. The Pan Am/Parapan Am Games are the world’s third largest international multi-sport Games; surpassed in size and scope only by the Olympic Summer Games and the Asian Games.
Who:
YRDSB staff, students and community members; student performers from Alexander Mackenzie High School; Pan Am Torch Relay team (including Trish Stratus, former professional wrestler and current television personality who will be arriving with the Pan Am flame).
