Help Richmond Green Students Raise $15,000 with The Inside Ride

​What:

The final event after a month of fundraising, Richmond Green Secondary School’s Inside Ride supports children living with and beyond cancer. Teams of 6 students per bike will ride for a combined total of 1 hour in the Richmond Green gymnasium. Bikes, prizes and music are provided by the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. Students will dress in costumes, sing and dance around the bikes while their teammates ride. The day is a celebration of staff and students’ hard work and an opportunity to highlight the need to work together to improve the world for families and children with cancer.

Why:

Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation presents the Inside Ride, Canada’s first indoor cycling challenge and fundraising event dedicated to raising monies in support of families and children with cancer. The Foundation ensures that 100% of all money raised goes directly to children’s cancer charities such as the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO). This is Richmond Green’s fourth year hosting the fundraiser and the school has raised over $35,000 to date. The goal for this year is to raise another $15,000.
