At a Special Board Meeting held January 20, 2022, the Board of Trustees passed a motion to authorize the Chair to send the following:

A letter to the Minister of Education on behalf of York Region District School Board to advocate for consistency of assessment and evaluation practices in secondary schools.

A letter to the Minister of Education and Minister of Health on behalf of the York Region District School Board to advocate for improved overall health and safety conditions for students and staff.
