At its June 20, 2023 Board meeting, York Region District School Board approved a 2023-24 budget of $1.6B.
Development of the budget is an ongoing process reflecting decisions made throughout the year and includes Board priorities and direction as established by the Trustees’ Multi-Year Plan and the Director’s Action Plan. Developing a balanced budget is a collaborative process that is undertaken in consultation with trustees, staff and system partners.
