Dear Families,

At a special board meeting last night, trustees accepted the resignation of Anna DeBartolo from her role as trustee for Vaughan Wards 1 and 2.
Anna DeBartolo, who served the Board for 15 years, resigned for personal reasons and is requesting privacy at this time. We would like to thank her for her years of service to public education.
After careful consideration of the options, trustees determined that holding a by-election would provide the residents of Vaughan with a fair process to democratically select their representative.
Happy Holidays

Dear families,
I’ve been hearing the many engaged and passionate voices of our students, families, community members and partners, and your questions and concerns regarding the recent election results in East Gwillimbury and Whitchurch-Stouffville.
Empowering Ethical Leadership
Well, maybe it started that way. As a dream, but doesn’t everything? Those buildings. These lights. This whole city. Somebody had to dream about it first.—James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl
There is so much wisdom in children’s books that reminds us about what is most important, and how we can live our best lives, achieve our goals, and be strong and effective leaders.
