Dear families,
We have heard from many members of our community requesting an opportunity to address the Board with the personal impact and suggestions regarding the xenophobic and racists remarks attributed to the trustee-elect from East Gwillimbury and Whitchurch-Stouffville.
We value our relationship with our families, students and community partners and will be holding a Special Board meeting on December 3, 2018, from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. at Aurora H.S., for this purpose. This follows this Inaugural Board meeting.
Members of the public who wish to make a presentation at this meeting may complete Request Delegate Status or contact Corporate Secretariat and Trustee Services. Please note the deadline for submitting a delegation request is Friday, November 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Each delegation will be allotted five minutes to speak and preference will be given to York Region residents.
