Everyone’s War: WWII & Propaganda
Museum staff bring a selection of artefacts into the classroom and using artefact analysis help students further understand the roles of youth during WWII, and will use primary sources to learn about how Propaganda at the time affected youth. Students will explore:
How teenagers and their families reacted to and supported WWII on the home front in York Region and across Canada.
Develop historical literacy skills through the use of primary sources.
Learn primary source analysis using a critical thinking approach.
