Below are my photographs from Juno Beach in the Bernieres-Sur-Mer area taken in April 2017. I was fortunate enough to walk along this beach with my tour group and take the following pictures. The beach smelled of rotting seaweed and was smaller than I expected but it was breathtaking to stand in the footsteps of Canadians.
Underneath is a scanned image of "Canadians At War" which shows Canadians on Juno Beach during D-Day at the same area of the beach.
