The CWGC (Commonwealth War Graves Commission) is an organization that commemorates 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in World War One and Two. They conserve and maintain cemeteries, burial plots and memorials of those who died in 154 countries worldwide. Their online databases contain registered records of lives lost globally from war efforts.

At the end of the day, grass will always grow back and buildings can be rebuilt, but the dead will be lost forever. The CWGC works to honor the dead of the allied forces throughout the world in recognition and respect all the brave soldiers who fought for their countries.
