Annual PEAC Regional Symposium
The Parent, Family and Community Engagement Advisory Committee (PEAC) and Leadership Development and Engagement team are pleased to announce the return to the in-person annual PEAC Regional Symposium.
The PEAC Regional Symposium will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Parkway, Toronto North Hotel.
The evening's agenda will be as follows:

Dr. Jacqueline Getfield, who has served as a member of the Parent, Family and Community Engagement Advisory Committee in YRDSB, and consults and collaborates with educators, administrators and health professionals at the local school and district shared School Councils after COVID-19: Authentic Voices and New Partnerships:
"Reaching for the high-hanging fruit of true family engagement means work, hard work, intentional work, collaboration, and communication...We must start by being intentional about inviting parents who are not usually at the table."
